Dumpling Bites | Our Story

Made by Hand on Noriega Street

Dumpling Bites opened in San Francisco's Sunset District in 2023 with one focus: handcrafted Shanghai-style soup dumplings made the right way, every single day. Every dumpling is folded by hand in our kitchen on Noriega Street. We use traditional recipes and fresh ingredients to create xiao long bao with thin, delicate skin and rich, flavorful broth inside. No shortcuts, no frozen fillings, just the real thing. We started because we believed the Sunset District deserved a place where soup dumplings were treated as an art form. From the first pinch of dough to the last fold, our team puts care into every single bite. Whether you're a longtime xiao long bao fan or trying them for the first time, we want every visit to feel special. Pull up a seat, grab some chopsticks, and taste the difference that handmade makes.
A Neighborhood, A Mission

A Neighborhood, A Mission

We opened at 1556 Noriega Street in 2023 with one goal — bring authentic Xiao Long Bao to the Sunset District and make it a place the neighborhood could call its own.

Each soup dumpling is handcrafted from scratch — thin-skinned, golf ball–sized, and packed with rich savory broth that blooms the moment you bite in.
